Pity For The Tormentors.

When you read a post like, ‘The Frighteners’ it is a bit of a worry… Here in the Western world, we think that we are better than a lot of other parts of the planet. In fact, this could be no further from the truth. Just because Britain and America have a rather slick and professional image it does not cover up inexcusable behaviour. We are just as bad as any other country; and often worse.

Goodbye,Oprah.

It is things like this that make me feel old! I cannot believe that it is almost twenty-five years since Oprah Winfrey first graced our television screens.

I am not (and never have been) a big fan of chat shows. They are the sort of programme that I would never bother sitting down to watch, but saying this I was still sad to hear about Oprah calling it a day.
