Health care is a matter of great importance today, as some diseases and health problems are currently on the rise. In order to fight diseases and lead a healthy life, all of us have to take the help of health care. However, there are many people who find it really difficult to bear medical costs and go for good treatment. Therefore, it is extremely important to have an organization around which would make medical treatment accessible for even people of humble background. Should the US provide universal health care, is a hot topic today and most people feel that it is good endeavor, as it would give people the access to basic health care.

Universal health care would be of greatest help to those Americans who do not even have access to basic health utilities. This health care system would enable a person to call a doctor whenever necessary and go for medical checkups at very low personal cost if any cost at all. Therefore, it would ensure a healthier country where people who cannot afford private health insurance are not deprived of medical treatment. Therefore, universal health care is definitely is an ideal health care program.

The challenge for the American administration is how to pay for it all. Senators struggle with whether or not the government should bear the whole cost or share it with the citizen. There are many different opinions and thoughts flying around on this issue so the debate will continue for years to come.

Yet Universal health care has worked well in other countries such as France, the United Kingdom, and Canada, then why not in the U.S. Overall costs are relative when it come on to the health of a nation as it affects other areas of economic life. The healthier the people the better off the nation will be in the long run.

It seems such a simple and easy decision to make why then are they making so difficult?
