Why Are Americans Complaining About Gas Prices..Seriously
Posted by admin on June 16, 2010
Americans are complaining about the increasing gas oil prices. This is because everyday there has to be skyrocketing or outrageous gas prices in America. The main reason why the Americans are complaining is because the price of fuel is higher for their income to sustain it. Gas prices affect most of the prices of other items in the economy.
The cause of the outcry is due to the effect of the increase in gas prices. This implies that the economy is affected. The consumer costs across the borders of America become higher therefore they become more expensive to deliver in America. This affects the services in the country. The increase in gas prices affects the average income earner since the salary remains the same. The transportation system makes it worse since the prices go high even before the gas gets to the local citizens. This affects the transport costs and taking a train is very expensive with the rising gas prices.
As the Americans are complaining about the gas prices there are places such as Europe and Asia where the prices are twice as much as the prices in America. The Americans are complaining since the prices of gas are not as low as they used to be in the past. The citizens are feeling the pinch and therefore complaining so much. However in some other states the prices have always gone up and they are used to the increases since prices will never be constant. The American citizens use cars more than train and therefore this affects the individual.
The Americans should not complain since this is a global problem. This has been a challenge to the creation of other avenues to finding solutions to the gas problem that does not only affect America but other counties of the world and the world economy.
In the UK we could also complain about fuel prices especially since we are taxed far more than you Americans. We should complain but we don’t because we are too busy living and making a life for ourselves. Who knows maybe we should have a cross Atlantic peaceful demonstration.
