Every year, millions of people head over to Florida on vacation. They fly out usually to escape the cold winter. They come as a family to visit Disney, Universal and Busch Gardens. Many have decided to sell their house and retire to the land of sunshine and easy living. For whatever reason you come to Florida, you will need a place to stay.

Villas in Florida are a very popular housing option. They are usually one story units that are set up in planned communities and cost less than a typical free-standing house. Villas in Florida are set on a small piece of property and are separated from other villas by only a few feet. They are like a house in that they have a small yard and generally a one or two car garage.

Villas are also commonly used as rental properties. Instead of staying in a hotel, vacationers can rent a villa for the week and enjoy much more space. There are vacation clubs and travel clubs that manage properties and they can set you up in a comfortable villa home at a price not much more than a hotel room. The next time you visit Florida, consider renting a villa.
