Ruining Your Own Country

I have always admired the stability of the American nation when it comes to sharing the difficulties along with the happiness for the people in the country. However, the US political elite seems to be something far more different from the American public as a whole. I face serious difficulties in understanding the political leaders of the largest economy in the world - they seem to be thinking about the great Hotel Looe vacations more than the stability of their own people.
Why am I thinking like this? Well the answer is not hard to reach. Recently, the US has been exposed to one of its most serious financial challenges - the country was facing a debt crisis for more than a month but noone seemed to care in the Parliament. Only when the knife reached the bone, the American leaders decided to take a quick and overlooked decision about their financial stability. I am sure than they do realize the great risks that they are facing when such a decision is poorly made and I am sure they know what the stake of such a decision is for the general public.
Rather than taking a decision on the spot and avoiding world financial disturbances, the American leaders stayed in their Parliament arguing like a bunch of kinds over a chocolate cake piece. The funny thing is that people are actually watching this and wondering when political opponents would finally realize that sometimes political struggle is less important than the welfare of the strongest country in the world.
